Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

As we start this new year, let us remember that we serve the one true living God and His Son Jesus Christ who is Himself God.

If God is for us, who can be against us? I know that our troubles - and your troubles - can seem enormous to each of us. But God is greater than our troubles. God knows the plans He has for us, and they are plans for good and not for harm, plans to give us a future and a hope.

As you look to this new year, ask God to give you His faith and His hope and His love. Faith in God - hope for the future - and love for God and for those around you. Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit and His joy, and you can have victory over discouragement and sin and even death. Jesus Christ is Lord! No power is greater than God. You can have great victory in your life in Jesus Christ in 2011.

Dear Heavenly Father

I thank you that you love me.
I ask your Son Jesus Christ to come into my life.
I know I have sinned and committed deeds unpleasing to you.
I ask you now to forgive me of these sins and cleanse my life.
Help me to follow You and Your teachings.
Protect me from satan and evil.
Teach me to put You first in all my thoughts and action.
Help me to love my fellow man as you have loved me.
And, Father, show me step by step the plan you made from my life.
I give you myself and my life.
I worship and praise you, my creator and Lord.
I will continually thank You for sacrificing Your Son on the cross that I might have eternal life with You.
Help me to win others to Christ.
I await the return of Christ to take me to heaven.
Come soon, Lord Jesus Christ.Amen!

You shall have no other Gods before me

There is only one true God who created the heavens and the earth and who rules the universe. God says to us in the Bible, “You shall have no other Gods before me.”

What does this mean? It means we should worship the one and only true God as our supreme Lord and we should worship nothing else before God. No other god is more important than God. Money is not more important than God. Success is not more important than God.

You can have only one god and that should be the one true God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the maker of heaven and earth. Do not bow down to any idols. Do not let yourself think that anything on earth or in heaven is more important than God. God loves you and He wants to bless your life; He forgives all your sins in Jesus Christ when you accept Christ as your savior. God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.

God Knows Best

Our Father knows what's best for us, So why should we complain ... We always want the sunshine, But He knows there must be rain.

We love the sound of laughter And the merriment of cheer; But our hearts would lose their tenderness If we never shed a tear.

Our Father tests us often With suffering and with sorrow;He tests us, not to punish us, But to help us meet "tomorrow."

For growing trees are strengthened When they withstand the storm; And the sharp cut of the chisel Gives the marble grace and form.

God never hurts us needlessly, And He never wastes our pain; For every loss He sends to us Is followed by rich gain.

And when we count the blessings That God has so freely sent;We will find no cause for murmuring And no time to lament.

For Our Father loves His children, And to Him all things are plain; So He never sends us "pleasure" When the "soul's deep need is pain."

So whenever we are troubled, And when everything goes wrong, It is just God working in us To make "our spirits strong."

We are to ask in faith when we pray.

We are to ask in faith when we pray. Jesus said to His disciples, “Have faith in God....I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe3 that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

God’s Word the Bible is the basis for our faith. “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” If God said it, you can believe it. When Adam and Eve were tempted in the garden, the first temptation was “Has God really said...?” The answer to that temptation needs to be “YES GOD HAS SAID.”

We need to seek God and read His Word and learn His will for our lives. Then we need to ask Him to help us have faith. Are you sick? Then pray in faith and ask God to heal you. God may use doctors or medicine, but pray for His healing. Is your child away from God? Ask God to bring your child to Him. You may need patience in faith. Abraham was the “father of faith” in the Bible; he had faith but he waited for many years for the promise. God may answer your prayers right away, or He may ask you to have faith for a while. And God knows what is best, so realize you need to pray always in submission to His will.

When Jesus was tempted, He spoke “It is written” and He quoted the Bible. You and I have the power of the Word of God available to us. So let us take up the shield of faith and the sword of the Word of God, and walk in the love of Jesus Christ. We do not war against people; the way of Christ is love. But we do need to stand strong in faith and trust God that if we pray according to His will, we know that we have the requests that we ask of Him.

Kapit Sa Bato

Isang araw kumain ang tatlong magkakaibigan na Caviteño, Kapampangan at Ilocano sa isang Restaurant Malapit sa Baywalk. Umorder sila ng Tatlong Lugaw at Tatlong Softdrinks! Dahil mahilig si Caviteño sa Pustahan, naisipan niyang idaan sa Pustahan kung sino ang magbabayad ng kanilang mga Kinain.

Caviteño: Mga Pare, may naisipan akong magandang Paraan kung sino ang magbabayad ng mga Kinain natin!

Kapampangan: Ano Yon?

Caviteño: Sabay- sabay tayong Sisisid sa Dagat, Kung sino ang unang lumitaw sa ating tatlo, siya ang magbabayad ng kinain nating Lugaw at Softdrinks.

Ilocano: Kol ako diyan!

Kapampangan: Ako rin siyempre:

Sabay - Sabay na silang tatlong lumusong sa Dagat, Nung nasa tubig na sila.

Caviteño: Ano ready na ba kayo mga Igan?

Ilocano: Ok game na ako!

Kapampangan: Sige umpisahan na natin!

Sabay -sabay silang bumilang ng 1..2..3 sabay lumubog sa tubig ang tatlo! makaraang ang isang minuto, biglang umahon si Kapampangan....

Kapampangan: Di baleng ako na ang magbayad wag lang akong malunod, tutal mura lang naman yun!

Makalipas ang Dalawang Minuto si Caviteño naman ang biglang Lumitaw.

Caviteño: (Di ko na kaya) Biglang lumitaw sa pagkakalubog...

Makalipas ang talong Minuto, Lima, Sampu at hanggang umabot ang 30 minuto di parin Lumilitaw si Ilocano.... Nagtataka na ang Dalawa!

Kapampangan: Pare, iba na ang kkutob ko!

Caviteño: Ako rin pare! Sisirin na nga natin siya!

Sumisid ang Dalawa, Laking gulat nila nung Makita si Ilocano na Nakapit sa Bato at ito' y Patay na... Tsk....Tsk....Tsk..... kawawang Ilocano, mas ginusto niya pa ang Mamatay kaysa magbayad ng mga nakain nila!

Joke lang po at walang Personalan! Bato -bato sa Langit ang Tamaan ay Pangit at Adik! Di naman po cguro lahat ng Ilocano ay kuripot! muli, Joke Joke Joke!
