Samsung P6200 Rooting Guide


Model : Samsung P6200
Vewrsion : Android 4.1.2v Jellybean
Customer want to root the tablet...

A: Install CWM recovery
Step 1. Download these two needed files
- ( Recovery.tar.rar and Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip )
Step 2. Copy the Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip files to your Galaxy Tab SDcard.
Step 2. Download Odin and install the USB driver.
Step 3. Extract the recovery.tar.rar file using winrar, 7zip, winzip or any extracting tool you have in your computer.
Step 4. Run Odin, click the PDA button then browse the recovery.tar.md5
(make sure not to tick the “Re-Partition” checkbox)
Step 5. Reboot the Galaxy Tab into download mode – Press and hold Volume Down and Power button.
Step 6. Connect the device to the computer using the supplied USB cable.
Step 7. Once the device is recognized with Odin (ID:COM box highlighted in bluish color)
Step 8. Hit START button.
Step 9. Wait until it finishes flashing, then once the device reboots unplug the phone from the computer.

B: Installing SuperSU via CWM.

Step 10. Reboot the Tab to recovery mode (Hold Volume Up+Power till it reboot to recovery)

Once in recovery mode, use the volume button to scroll up or down then navigate to “Apply Update zip” from internal storage, instead of external storage.
- Choose install zip from sdcard.
- Choose zip from sdcard.
- Choose Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip and Yes – Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip.
- Once done, choose reboot system now.







You will then can find the superuser app in your drawer.
