Motorola Charm hard reset

How to Hard Reset Motorola Charm MB502 to Factory Settings :

Factory Data Reset

From the screen of your phone, open the Applications Tray. (circle located in the middle at the right of the display screen) Or press the Menu button on the left from your screen.
Tap Settings.
Scroll down and tap Privacy.
Tap Factory Data Reset.
Tap Reset Phone.

Hard Reset using Buttons

Power off the phone, press and hold “X” key, then press power button.
Release “X” key when Triangle Droid screen is displayed.
Press Power button again to enter recovery mode and display menu choices.
Use Right/Left Nav-Key arrows to navigate through the on-screen menu
Navigate on-screen menu to select “wipe data/factory reset” and then press “Return” key
Navigate on-screen menu to select “reboot system now” and then press “Return” key
Wait for device to reboot

Procedure:

Perform "Prepare smart testpoint"
when smartmoto prompts to disable the handset please perform the
following:

- Disconnect the handset and Dismantle it
- Please ensure that the LCD is disconnected from the board
- Connect smart testpoint cable to the port rj45 on smartclip
- Connect data cable to phone
- Connect battery hook to the positive (+) battery contact on PCB
- Connect needle A to the primary Testpoint A and hold it untill the
software inform that it can be disconnected
- wait till unlocked Ok
- Done
