How to root the Galaxy Note T879
Quote:
As you try more of the apps for the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note SGH-T879, you’ll find that a number of them require root access. Rooting the T-Mobile Galaxy Note is actually very similar to the process used for rooting the AT&T Galaxy Note. There are a few differences though and there’s more than one file that you can use to do so. One way, in particular, does not trigger the flash counter on your phone or display a yellow warning triangle (indicating that the phone has been tampered) during bootup. This method, described in this guide, requires flashing a pre-rooted but stock system image of build UVLG3. This means that everything will be stock T-Mobile and stock Samsung. The only difference is that your phone will now have root privileges. This guide shows you how to root the Galaxy Note T879. |
